Every extra group — staff, admin, customer, contractor — is another set of screens and permissions to build and test.
A one-off card payment is quick. Subscriptions, part-payments, refunds and split invoicing are not.
A well-documented API adds a couple of days. An old system with no API can add a couple of weeks.
Extraction, summarising and search are straightforward. Anything that has to be right every time needs review steps around it.
Clean spreadsheets import quickly. Ten years of inconsistent records take real work to move safely.

Yes, deliberately, and it's a large part of why the price is what it is. AI handles scaffolding, boilerplate, test coverage and refactoring — the mechanical work that used to consume most of a development budget. Every line is reviewed, tested and deployed by us. You're paying for judgment and accountability, not typing speed.
You do, in full, on final payment. Source code, database, hosting accounts and domain. No licence fees and no proprietary framework you can only maintain through us.
You take the repository and go. The stack is standard and widely used, so any competent developer can pick it up. We do a handover call and leave documentation.
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our systems. Sign-in uses managed authentication. The database uses row-level permissions so users only ever see their own records, connections are encrypted, and backups run daily.
We're based in New Zealand and work with clients across Europe, North America, Australia and Asia. Almost all of the work happens over video calls and a shared link, and we hold overlap hours for whichever time zone you're in.

Because we've removed the parts of agency cost that never reach your product: layers of account management, junior developers learning on your budget, and the slow mechanical work that tooling now handles in a fraction of the time. You're paying for senior thinking and a finished product.
No. You get a fixed price after a written scope. If you want something added mid-project we price the change and you approve it before we build.
That's our problem, not yours. A fixed price means the risk of estimating badly sits with us. The only thing that changes the number is a change you ask for.
For the overwhelming majority of business software, comfortably. It's the same architecture funded startups run on. If you outgrow it, that's a good problem with a clear path forward.
We invoice in your currency, work to a simple fixed-price agreement, and take 50% up front. Most international clients pay by bank transfer or card.
