Scope and quotes
[Placeholder] Every project starts with a written scope that lists what the software does, every screen, the timeline and the fixed price. The scope is free and yours to keep whether or not you go ahead.
[Placeholder] Work outside the written scope is quoted separately before it starts. Nothing is billed by the hour.
Payment
[Placeholder] Projects are invoiced in agreed stages. Prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and can be invoiced in USD, AUD, GBP or EUR. Payment terms are stated on each invoice.
Timelines
[Placeholder] Timelines assume feedback and decisions come back within the agreed check-in rhythm. Delays in feedback move the launch date by the same amount.
Code ownership
[Placeholder] On final payment you own the source code, the database, the hosting accounts and the domain in full. There are no licence fees and no proprietary framework you can only maintain through us.
Support after launch
[Placeholder] Thirty days of fixes are included after go-live. After that you can take a Care Plan or hand the code to your own team.
Liability
[Placeholder] Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Ending a project
[Placeholder] Either side can end a project in writing. You pay for the work completed to that point and receive the code produced so far.
